As per the
approved regulation of Dibrugarh
University, a candidate who possesses
any Bachelor degree of Dibrugarh
University (10+2+3) pattern or any other
recognised university with atleast 50%
marks (45% SC/ST) in aggregate in pass
or major subjects will be eligible to
apply for admission into the first
semester MBA programme.

Selection
Procedure (MBA 2 years Full Time)
|
As provided
in the regulations of Dibrugarh
University, there shall be an admission
test for selection of candidates for
admission into the MBA programme. The
scheme of admission test will be as
follows:

a) Written
test
(Time: 2 hours)
250 marks
|
(Written
test will consist of General Awareness,
Reasoning, Numerical Ability,
English language and short essays)
|
b) Group
Discussion
50 marks
|
c)
Interview
50 marks
|
Total:
350 marks
|
|
(The
candidates who have passed all India
level examinations like MAT, CAT with a
score of 500 and above are exempted from
written test)
|
|
A candidate
shall have to secure at least 125 marks
in the written test to become eligible
and to be called for Group Discussion
and Interview. Candidates who secured at
least 25 marks in Group Discussion and
Interview, will be considered for
selection, the selection will be merit
based.

Eligibility
to Apply for Admission (MBA 3 years Part
Time) |
A
candidate who (i) possess a Bachelor
Degree of the University or any other
recognised university and (ii) having 2
years experience at Supervisory Level in
any Governmant, Semi Government or
Non-Government Organisation shall be
eligible to apply for admission into
First Year Part Time MBA course. Self
Employed persons having above mentioned
qualification and experience shall also
be considered for the admission purpose. |

Selection
Procedure (MBA 3 years Part Time) |
Admission
Committee, Centre for Management
Studies, shall select the candidates for
the admission. There shall be an
Admission Test in the form of Written
Test only. Written Test shall be of 250
marks and it shall consist of General
Awareness, Test of Reasoning, Numerical
Ability, English language and Short
essay. On the basis of performance of
Written Test, a Merit List shall be
prepared; and priority in the admission
shall be given on the basis of Merit
List prepared. |
